The 18ETHICS Project organizes an online lecture series on the history of modern ethics from the 17th to the 19th century, with a main focus on the 18th century, under the title The Milan Seminar in the History of Modern Moral Philosophy. The series shall include presentations from current research on any aspect of philosophical ethics in that timespan.
The seminar takes place online on Fridays from 15–17:00 CET and will be starting in Fall 2025. The inaugural talk will be given on October 3, 2025 by Stephen Darwall.
While the majority of speakers will be invited, please see the Call for Papers if you are interested in presenting a paper.
